Development of a study on the circular economy that will include a definition of the concept, a state of the art, a regional and international benchmark, an analysis of socio-economic and environmental issues, initiatives in the field, identification of appropriate sectors of activity, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and links with the SDGs through research and interviews with actors in the field.

Mission:

Realization of a study on the circular economy in Tunisia

• Define the circular economy in Tunisia.
• Draw up an inventory of the circular economy in Tunisia, including an analysis of its legislative and institutional framework, the progress made in the field and the possible bottlenecks.
• Identify existing initiatives in the field.
• Realization of a regional and international benchmark relating the good practices and the successful experiences.
• Determining the socio-economic and environmental challenges of the circular economy.
• Identification and prioritization of promising sectors of activity for the circular economy.
• Recommendation of indicators to be developed and improved.
• Formulation of concrete and prioritized recommendations to the Tunisian government, particularly in relation to the investment climate
