International Finance Corporation (“IFC”) is planning to support several capex activities at Tunisia Cables facilities in Tunisia and the Morocco production plant as well as future acquisitions/expansion in cable and mechatronics markets. IFC appraisal indicated the need for OTH to develop a Corporate Environmental and Social System Management (C-ESMS) manual/system building upon the existing ESMS already developed at some plants. The corporate manual will be aligned with World Bank Group/IFC EHS General Guidelines (EHS-GG), IFC EHS Sector Guidelines (EHS-SG), and relevant IFC Performance Standards (PSs) as well as alignment with OHSAS 18001, an international occupational health and safety specification, and ISO 14001, an internationally recognized environmental standard, and local regulations. The C-ESMS also include the company’s commitment to comply with IFC’s Performance Standards provisions for all its operational plants. Furthermore, OTH is expected to implement the corporate ESMS manual framework across all manufacturing facilities and subsidiaries, based on this C-ESMS

• Sites visits (5 facilities: FUBA, ELEONTECH, TECHNIPLAST, TTEI, TELECOCABLES)
• Desk review
• Gap Analysis report
• Preparation of the Manual ( Table of contents and list of procedures)
• Policies and Management Procedure and drafting of the Operation Procedure
• Presentation of the System and training to relevant Company’s personnel
