The project consists of the implementation of a 50 MW solar photovoltaic power plant in the village of Dialakoro, cercle de Kati, Koulikoro region. The project will require the occupation of 120 ha which will be developed and where photovoltaic panels will be installed for the production of solar energy. On completion, the plant will be connected to the nearby 150 kV transmission line via a loop configuration to one of the neighbouring transmission line poles. The distance between the main substation of the power plant and the 150 kV transmission line will be less than 1 km. The work will take between 9 and 12 months for the construction period. Approximately 200-400 people could be recruited at the peak of the work. The duration of the project is twenty-five (25) years.
