The consortium AMEA Power-TEBA , was awarded in December 2019, an Agreement for the development of a 100 Mega Watt (MW) solar photo voltaic (PV) plant in the governorate of Kairouan, Tunisia . The consortium was selected following an international tender launched by the Tunisian government, represented by the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy, under the Tunisian Solar Program. The project is financed by International Finance Corporation IFC and the African Development Bank AfDB.

Mission:

ASF Consulting has been assigned to conduct a Environmental and social Due Diligence for IFC. The mission consists in:

• Review of safeguard documents (ESIA, ESMP, SEP)
• Review of the promoter's Environmental and Social Management System Manual.
• Realization of the visits of the site.
• Preparation of the Environmental and Social Action Plan
• Elaboration of the Due Diligence mission report.
