Mission:

• Desk review and setting relevant objectives and incorporating any latest info made available by AfDB Team
• Assembling and reviewing important reports and essential background information and data to serve as a basis for the preparation of an evidence-based, sound, and comprehensive Updated Energy Sector Policy
• developing the draft Updated Energy Sector Policy taking into account all findings from the previous phases, i.e. the Inception, Technical, and Consultation Phases
• Preparing for and participating in the Regional Stakeholder Consultation, with the Materials for Regional Stakeholder Consultations.
  • Five (5) regional consultations, with private, public and CSOs.
  • One (1) consultation with MDBs.
  • One (1) consultation with AUC and RECs.
  • AfDB’s internal consultations.
• Developing the Report on Outcome of Regional Stakeholder Consultations
• Preparing the draft Updated Energy Sector Policy based on the Approach Paper and reflecting the outcome of the external Regional Stakeholder Consultations.
• Disseminating the final Updated Energy Sector Policy in line with the Dissemination Plan.
