Mission:

Environmental and Social Monitoring Consultant (ESMC) for IFE.

• Verify that projects are designed, constructed, installed, and operated in accordance with project standards and project documents, including the ESIA, ESMP, subject-specific ESMP, and ESAP.
• Identify environmental, social, health, and safety (ESHS) impacts, risks, or liabilities that have not been adequately mitigated or controlled by the project.
• Identify areas where risks are not being managed or mitigated as planned in the ESIA, and where there are therefore residual risks that need to be addressed.
• Assist the IFE in reviewing and approving revisions to the project's contractual commitments.
• Preliminary E&S categorization of the projects.
• Participation in the ESDD Phase.
